About Me

 Cyril M. Scovens M.S., MAC LCADC is an Addictionologist and the Founder/President of CMS Institute of Addictionology, Inc. In this role, Cyril M. Scovens M.S., MAC LCADC looks after/coordinates/manages/leads a team providing all aspects of Addiction Psychology, including Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery.

A big believer in the Science of Addiction, Cyril M. Scovens M.S., MAC LCADC supports the efforts of coordinating a synergistic approach to addiction treatment.

Cyril M. Scovens is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor and Supervisor and holds a Master of Science Degree in Addiction Counseling from Coppin State University. He is currently attending Capella University Doctorate School in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior.

Cyril M. Scovens M.S., MAC LCADC is the current Board President of the Maryland Association of Addiction Professionals, Inc. Cyril M. Scovens hold a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) Certification from the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals.
